Easy to install on the wall using an electronic screwdriver and easy to connect the timer remote. Motion detection settings works well and turns off automatically when the room is empty. I am super happy with the investment. The only thing to note is that the device must be installed at least 8 ft high on the wall for safe use.

Convenient Design In Every Detail
I've been using the Lantern for a couple of months. We invested in it to make it safer for our nephew to visit us. I don't have a way to test how well it performs, but I can say the kit is very thoughtfully designed. It includes adapters for worldwide use, making the Lantern travel-friendly. The extension cord and the ability to relocate the sensor along it is very handy.
The protective case also makes it easy to transport. We took it to the in-laws' home for the holidays and mounted it on a camera tripod above the dish cabinet. (See photo.) Then we had to explain that no, the little purple light wasn't a bug zapper unless those bugs are viruses and bacteria!
There's a lot of information available on this site to explain how it works and how to use it. Also, when I had a question about the Lantern, I received a rapid response with a clear explanation.
For those unfamiliar with this type of light, there is a constant fan noise when it's running. It's not loud but it is noticeable in a quiet room. This keeps the bulb cool, which is essential.
I hope to collect more Nukit Lanterns for complete coverage because I appreciate the design, the convenience, and the accessibility.

Thoughtful Design
Having previously bought the Nukit Torches, I was excited to buy the Lantern as well, giving me a larger, more powerful light for more coverage in my home. I have it on top of my bookcase in my family room and run it whenever I have visitors for peace of mind. The Lantern is packaged beautifully, with multiple plugs for any style outlet, and a clever motion sensor control that is simple to install and use. It’s obvious that much thought went into the design of the unit, as well as the way it could be used in a consumer setting, and the accessories reflect that process. I liked this unit so much I bought another one for a family member.

Commitment and Caring
I'm impressed by Nukit and the Nukit Lantern. The device is beautifully designed. The thoughtfulness of every component is outstanding. Set-up was a breeze. Perfect tool for home or travel!
